Today was day two of having to be inside all day. So we thought it would be fun to have a snow day in class. To help with fine motor skills they ripped up paper into small pieces. They were a little confused about it at first but slowly got into doing it.
And then we let them loose! It was great fun!! Something that they will remember for a long time! LOL I love working with Allison!

We just watched " In The Blink Of An Eye" with the kids. What a great movie to watch and talk about the plan of salvation! It was great to hear my kids tell us about it. I have been praying for my children's salvation from the time the idea of children came into mind. While pregnant I prayed for their salvation and the people they will marry! God is good all the time!
I praise God that both my children have made their profession of faith!
If yo have not seen this movie I would rent it!!!!!

" May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus." Romans 15:5
On October 28 , 2009 I got a phone call from Mark, it started like this...
Mark: Hey hon, are you in town?
Me: Yes, am headed to pick some things up at Fry's, why??
Mark: Am at Urgent care to see if I have a sprained ankle or if I broke it?
Me: WHAT!
Mark:Don't worry I think am fine Richardo is with me I'll call you later.
An hour later........
Mark: Hey Hon, can you meet me at the yard ( SSVEC ) to pick me up. Pat is driving my truck home, oh I did break my ankle in 2 places!
Me: WHAT!!!
Mark: Don't worry I'll have it check out tomorrow.
The next day we drove to Tucson to have it looked at at Tucson Orthopedic. Yes he had broke it in 2 places and 2 weeks later came out of surgery with 9 screws and a plate.
Mark was off work at home from 5 weeks and then onto light duty. We were blessed by friend who called to check on him during the day when I was at work. Made him lunch and stopped by to make sure that he didn't need anything. This was so hard for Mark in so many ways. He was having to let me serve him and others. He's love language is the gift of service and he was having to set and watch. Hunting season came and he went with crutches and a cast. We had a ski trip planned and Mark had to set and take great pictures!
Having to slow down is a hard thing to do. Having to trust that God is going to take care of everything is even harder. Mark and I have had to trust the Lord in many ways over our 16 years of marriage. This was a learning experience and we did learn! I praise God that he is OK, so many other things could have happen to him. He does work with power! Then Lord takes care of us always.
Today was a big day...Mark put on his line boots! I love my husband! Very much!

" He alone is my rock and my salvation:he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God: he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him,for God is our refuge." Psalm 62:6-8
12 years ago today Sydney Noelle Roll was born. Weighing in at 7.1lbs with red hair and soft skin. Over the days, weeks, months and year after her death, a short 3 weeks after she was born I have had to learn to trust in the Lord! He has, is and always will be my refuge. I could not have made it today without the love he gives me.
The Lord has brought many people into my life that have been my biggest cheerleaders and supporters! I have cryed many tears with them over the memories of Sydney. I thank the Lord for all I have learned, shared and grown from her short time here with us. I praise God that am still married to the most wonderful man who's still holds my hand and gives mt butterflies!
Thank you Mary and Dawn for a wonderful day! Laugher is always the best medicine

"Clap your hands, all you people; shout to God with a jubilant cry." Psalms 47:1
This morning I sat in on Mark's Sunday school class with the youth. Something that I haven't done in a while. He was talking about blessings in our lives...and when we see a need, fill a need..I started thinking about how many people I have or had in my life over the years that have blessed me in ways that they may not know.
January is a very hard month for me. On the 6th of January we celebrate our daughter Sydney's birthday. She would have been 12 this year. She was beautiful with red hair and soft white skin. She lived a short 3 weeks after her birth and then went to be with Jesus. I can name a handful of people who have blessed my life more then they will know in the time after her death. From the nurses at UMC that did everything they could to make us comfortable to the friend who still holds my hand when I cry thinking about her.
When you hold the door for someone, smile and say hello, let the person go in front of you in the store with one item. You never know what that could really mean to them.
A good friend of my husband once told him " See a need, fill a need" think about that. It could be the biggest blessing to someone but you never know what a blessing it will be to you!
Thank to you all who are a blessing in my life....I love you !

stores. Sportsman's. While there Mark and Austin found a shot gun for
Austin. SO now Austin can start shooting!
And on one of those rare moments Mark and I got to go on a movie date night! We saw Nine and enjoyed it.. Thanks Brittany for babysitting.

My Kids
Something New!
My friend Jessica did a 365 blog and I SO enjoyed reading it and seeing all that was going. In the middle of scrap booking our family ski trip for Christmas I wondered if I could do a 365 page? We have so much getting ready to happen and things happening that it would be fun to share with family and friends.
So here we are and going to give it a try!
Who know what fun we will have on this journey!!
