Today was the start of Red Ribbon Week at school...Say No To Drugs!! I think its going to be a great week!! With Halloween parties to end it all!!

This is my best friend ( and sister) Mary Austin....Thursday they thought she was having a heart attack! Ended up in Tucson Heart Hospital and had an angiogram. No blockage but still having some problems. They believe it is something with the rhythm. Still working on that but she is home and doing well!!

This was a hard day on SO many different levels. We have been friends for 13 years...her children are both in college....we have been in the valleys with each other, remembering that God will get us though it all, and praising God from on high!! I really don't know what I would have done if some more had happened.

Thank you Lord for all you do everyday for us!!

On Austin football team the defense gets the hammer for the best hits in the game or practice.

You never would think that this would be a big deal....it SO is the big deal. It is So hard not to just go out and get Austin one of his own......It is so hard to see his face when he doesn't get it. He has done some awesome hitting in games and practice. But something has happen that he has not gotten it! I really do pray that he gets it SOON!! Funny how the little things in life are mean SO much!

FOOTBALL FOOTBALL! GO COLTS! We were going to go to Safford for football this weekend, but change of plans. We played the Raiders here in town. It was a good game!! We won!

Took the kids to the Tucson Botanical Garden to see the butterflies! Had so much fun!!!!

Thursday the kids and I went to the movies: it was a good movie!!!

We picked apples yesterday at Apple Annie's.....so today we made applesauce! We had to make it "chucky" some with cinnamon and some without!!

Took the kids on the annual trip to Apple Annie's over Fall break...It was crazy not having Brittany with us! It was the first time we didn't have Mary's kids ( if just one) with us in years! Got our pumpkins, apples and went thought the corn maze! It was a good day!! Weather was beautiful and the sunflowers were awesome this year........it is NOW fall!

Today I did NOTHING but watch movies with the kids....I was feeling under the weather so we had a VERY slow day!! It was WONDERFUL!

I have the frogs from school over fall break....Mark was showing Ian them. Not to sure if he really "liked" it much. But his Uncle sure wanted him to see!

Saturday was Cars in the Park. Job, Amanda and Ian came down to spend the weekend in Sierra Vista with us..So we all went down to look at the cars. I think Austin had the best time!!!!

Football Football Football.......Colts vs Eagle's....WHAT A GAME!

Back and forth the ball went...Colts made a touchdown...Eagles made a touchdown...Eagles....Colts.....took the ball..we took the ball.....the Colts won, by 2 TD! Austin played the BEST he ever has. At the 2 yard line he got the ball back for the Colts keeping the Eagles from scoring!

The hardest part was having to play a friend..we talked a lot about what happens if the Colts lost and how to deal with losing and still being friends! His friend came over after the game with his family for dinner. All in good spirits and laughs. talking about the good plays on both teams! I loved that!!! It is a hard thing for a 10 year old boy to deal with losing and winning!
