Something new.........

Today my son ,Austin, who is 12 started a new sport. Wrestling. It's his 1st year wrestling with the school. He is in 6th grade but a big guy!!

For 2 weeks he has been practicing with the team after school getting ready for their 1st meet.

5:00 am this morning he had weigh in and off we were to an ALL day meet 30 min from home. My parents surprised him and he was PUMPED!

1st round...we lost with a quick pin down.

2nd round....a bye

3rd round....grandparents have to leave, dad walks grandparents out the gym...Austin wrestlers...dad comes in and all is over! We lost with a quick pin again.

Austin is in 6 grade...boys he was up against..8th grade and have been doing this awhile.

He was down for awhile upset that he had lost, but had to remind him this was his first time and with time he would be great! Boys on his team reminded him that is 8th grade he would be BIG!!!!

So proud of him!

Busy Busy Busy

That would sum up life in the Roll house. We are back into the swing of things after Christmas break. Lillie is back to band and Austin has started wrestling. Mark is STILL working crazy hours. Am trying to get back into the gym and get back to running and biking. Started an online class. WOW Busy Busy Busy

News Years Day Cooking

Did something new for News Years today.... Fried a turkey. Barry and Mark did a great job. It was great way to start the new year by trying something new! Welcome 2012! What shall you have for us this year ? Great things!!!

Countdown.........

I just cleaned out my photo album on my computer and put them onto my portable drive.....It was great looking at all the picutes from the last year. All the places that we have gone, things we have done, people who have come to visit us, parties we have been to and have had.

Reminds me of the Dr Suess book "Oh The Places We'll Go!" What shall 2012 have for us!!?? Great things and wonderful plans from the Lord!

New Year..........

As we come to the end of 2011 I look back at some of the great times we had this year!! From the a trip to Hawaii to time with family. We had some hard times with the fires and changes..But the year was a good one. I look to 2012 and see what we have coming! New adventurers! Austin is in his pre teen stage! Lord helps us at times! lol Lillie is 9 going on 21! lol So all I can say is HERE WE GO...2012!

Back to school!!
